Valerie Jarrett Tells CNN That Fox News ‘Is of Course Biased’ – But Avoids Same Question On MSNBC
By PoliJAM | October 27, 2009
Speaking with CNN’s Campbell Brown, White House adviser Valerie Jarrett jumps quickly to say that “of course” Fox News is “biased.”
According to Jarrett, the White House has spoken against Fox News because they are “gonna speak truth to power.” Speak truth to power? You are in the freaking White House – you are the bullying power in this case!
Jarrett’s remarks changed though when asked whether MSNBC was biased. In the case of the left-wing MSNBC, Jarrett was lost in how to respond before backtracking a little on her quick judgement on Fox News and then saying that she didn’t “want to just generalize” on bias.
Jarrett clearly doesn’t want to “speak truth” about White House BFF – MSNBC.
Share ThisCAMPBELL BROWN: Do you think Fox News is biased?
VALERIE JARRETT: Well of course they’re biased, of course they are.
BROWN: Well do you also — do you also think that MSNBC is biased?
JARRETT: Well you know what, this is the thing, I don’t want to – actually I don’t want to just generalize all Fox is bias or that another station is biased. I think that we want to do is look at it on a case-by-case basis. And when we see a pattern of distortion, we’re gonna be honest about that pattern of distortion…
…What the administration has said very clearly, is that we’re gonna speak truth to power.

that’s the crappiest back-pedaling I’ve ever seen.
