Terror Analyst: US State Dept to Blame for PC Airline Security, They ‘Don’t Want to Offend’

Speaking about the lax airline rules that allowed the terrorist suspect from Nigeria to board a plane from that country and then transfer in Amsterdam onto a flight headed to the United States, terror analyst Neil Livingstone says that the U.S. State Department is to blame for what he sees as an inadequate profiling system that has led to a political correct airline security system in the United States.

“The State Department says, ‘well, we’re buying a lot of oil from that country, we have to have good relations. We don’t want to offend them.’”

In light of the Christmas day attempted terror attack some airlines are now imposing new security measures, with many telling passengers that they will be prohibited from leaving their seats beginning an hour prior to landing.
