DEM INFIGHTING: Howard Dean Blames Obama for Failure of Public Option

By PoliJAM | December 21, 2009

Despite the Democrats receiving the 60 Senate votes they need to pass their health care reform bill it seems the Democratic infighting is far from over.

Appearing on MSNBC today, former DNC Chairman Howard Dean agreed with Sen. Russ Feingold’s (D-Wisc.) criticism of President Obama that he was to blame for the failure of the liberal left’s coveted public option.

If this Democratic civil war of sorts continues, President Obama will likely face a fractured party that doesn’t want to help him as much when it comes to turning out the vote in 2012 as well as in assisting him in passing his initiatives through Congress.
