‘VISOR-GATE’: McCain Defends Palin Over ‘Hysterical Attacks from the Left’
By PoliJAM | December 20, 2009
Asked by Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace what he thought about the pictures of his former running mate, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, that showed her wearing a sun visor with his name blacked out, Senator John McCain (R-Arizona) asked, “Can’t you take her at her word?”
This made up controversy is just another example of the “hysterical attacks” from a political left which is intimidated by her, McCain said.

But the fact is — I mean, are we in such a world now where we have climate change, health care reform, all these issues that are going on — massive debts and deficits — that we worry about Sarah Palin ’s visor?
WALLACE: I didn’t ask you about Tiger Woods, Senator.
(LAUGHTER)
MCCAIN: Thank you.
