NEA Chairman Says ‘Obama Is the Most Powerful Writer Since Julius Caesar’ – With Bill Ayers as His Ghostwriter
By PoliJAM | October 29, 2009
Giving the keynote address to the 2009 Grantmakers in the Arts Conference last week, the chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, Rocco Landesman, gave an extremely glowing tribute to his boss, President Barack Obama.
(H/t to Power Line for this find)
“This is the first president that actually writes his own books since Teddy Roosevelt and arguably the first to write them really well since Lincoln. If you accept the premise, and I do, that the United States is the most powerful country in the world, then Barack Obama is the most powerful writer since Julius Caesar. That has to be good for American artists.”
Talk about high praise to the man that appointed him to his position as NEA chief.
What’s interesting is that the assertion by Landesman that the president wrote his own books has actually come under question recently.
Christopher Andersen, author of the new book Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage, writes that domestic terrorist Bill Ayers helped Obama pen the future president’s book Dreams of My Father.
In the below video, Anderson could be seen telling Fox News’ Sean Hannity of the evidence that he has found that points to Ayers being Obama’s ghostwriter.
